Dr Mohammad Ali, LLB (Hons) (University of Chittagong), LLM (University of Chittagong), MHRL&P (UNSW), PhD in Law (Curtin)

Dr Ali is an Associate Lecturer in the Curtin Law School and was awarded the Dean's Higher Degree by Research Course Award in 2022 and the Best Paper Award at the 5th International Conference on Comparative Law in 2024. His research interests include shipbreaking policy, compensatory justice, and legal reasoning.

Dr Ali was an Additional District and Sessions Judge in Bangladesh where he delivered judgments in both civil and criminal matters during his ten years of judicial service.
